Five years ago, a transformative moment altered the course of Kim's life. Awakening from a vivid dream, she felt an irresistible urge to paint water lilies—a subject synonymous with Monet. The resemblance was uncanny; her brushstrokes echoed the fluidity and emotion of Monet's own. This serendipitous alignment did not go unnoticed.

Kim's deep connection to Monet is more than mere admiration; it’s a spiritual kinship that guides her creative process. She even commemorated this bond with a delicate tattoo on her left wrist—a personal homage to the master who inspired her journey. Living amidst the tranquil landscapes of the Florida Everglades and London, UK, Kim draws inspiration from her surroundings much like Monet did with his beloved gardens at Giverny.
